This past weekend I had the great pleasure hanging out with Linda and Edgar at Union Station in Downtown Los Angeles. We went exploring the whole place, there are just too many good spots for photography ! While we were there, there was actually a wedding going on in the courtyard, really puts love in the air, everyone can’t stop smiling as they walk by.

Linda and Edgar knows union station like the back of their hands. They showed me around, but it took a while to walk the whole place since I kept stopping them along the way for some quick photos.

Edgar brought his guitar along, and played for Linda during the session. He expresses his emotions through guitar, I was getting teary eyed but turned away to change lens so they won’t see it …

We actually got on the metro and explored !! So glad Edgar and Linda was with me…. I would be totally lost without them.

Last night I drove down to Long Beach to attend my good friend Henry Chen ’s workshop on night photo session.  Night photo session has been a tough thing to do since focusing in a dark area is a hard task, lighting condition at night is tough and secondary light source are usually required.  It was great to attend a night photo session workshop from Henry, he explains things in detail and catered to all the attendee’s needs.

One of the places we shoot at was a very modern room, I love the glass wall and the modern design !

Moving on to the night scene…

And that concluded our night photo session !  We later went over some very important material that every photographer needs to know, but often neglected, very informative and inspiring. It was a great workshop !
